UI / UX Design – May Cohort

The May UI/UX Design programme cohort is open for enrolment. Graduates will gain a strong understanding of design processes, a polished portfolio, and confidence to contribute to product teams.

Cohort Overview

The May cohort of our UI/UX Design program offers a comprehensive journey into the principles and practices of modern digital design. This session is tailored for aspiring designers, product managers, and developers who want to enhance their understanding of user-centric design methodologies.

Graduates of the May cohort will leave with a strong understanding of UI/UX design processes, a polished portfolio project, and the confidence to contribute meaningfully to product teams or continue toward advanced design roles.

What's Included

  • Introduction to the core principles of user interface and user experience design, including usability, accessibility, and interaction patterns.
  • Hands-on training with industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch for creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Guidance on conducting user research, creating personas, and running usability tests to validate design decisions.
  • Students will work on real-world projects, from brainstorming and ideation to delivering functional prototypes, building a portfolio-ready case study by the end of the cohort.
  • Weekly feedback sessions with experienced designers for guidance and critique

Key Details

Training begins on May 10, 2026. Applications close on May 5, 2026. Early enrollment is encouraged as seats fill quickly.

Twelve weeks of structured learning from May 10, 2026 through August 10, 2026. Total commitment is approximately twenty hours per week including live sessions and independent work.

Classes meet Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM West Africa Time. Sessions are live and interactive with recorded access for asynchronous review.

This cohort is delivered live online via Zoom. You will need a stable internet connection, a laptop or desktop computer, and design software access. Technical support is available throughout the program.

This cohort is led by Chioma Adeyemi and Zainab Hassan, both with extensive experience in digital product design and user experience across African and global markets.

Only limited (20) seats is available for this cohort. Enrolment is limited to 20 students to ensure personalized instruction and meaningful peer interaction throughout the program.

Full payment is ₦180,000. Instalment plans are currently not available. Secure online payment and bank transfer are both accepted.

Upon completion with eighty-five percent attendance, you receive a professional certificate from NovelTech Academy. This credential is recognized by employers and can be shared on LinkedIn and professional profiles.
